The founder of EVR is Edo Vigna, a former Ducati technical speciaist that worked many years for the Ducati Suoer Bike teams during the 90's and was present at many SBK races as mechanic for the Ducati factory team. Edo is known as one of the inventors of the slipper clutch, and has further developed end perfected the slipper clutch for Ducati models and later expanded the accuired experience to other developements in the slipperclutch disigns for wet slipper clutches. These latest generation slipper clutches are know as Controlled Torgue Control clutches ( CTS ) and are known to be the best on todays market. There simply is no substitude.
The currecnt CTS is the result of years of testing an developing, and cannot be compared to low end slipper clutches based on steel balls, which is considered old technology.
Edo also poineerded in the technology of larger airboxes and initially developed larger oversized airboxes for the 748/916 models, later followed by 996/998 and 749/999 airboxes and today a full array of airboxes is offered, also for Hypermotard, Streetfighter and 848-1198 series. EVR (Edo Vigna Racing) today, is the manufacturer of specialty racing parts for Aprilia, Ducati and MV Agusta. Their product line-up includes slipper clutches, 48 tooth clutches for all dry clutch Ducati models,ventilated pressure plates, oversized carbon fibre airboxes, EPROM chips for ECU management, high compression pistons, ventilated pressure plates, and wiring harnesses.
